What’s Tony Petrello’s Background, the Nabors Giant?

Published / by Alice / Leave a Comment

Anthony “Tony” Petrello is one of America’s most popular and most successful businesspeople, best known for his current long-standing tenure with the energy giant Nabors Industries. Mr. Petrello had taken over at Nabors just a few years after they rebranded their organization, after failing quite roughly in 1987. Tony had joined the energy conglomerate in 1991, just four years after a burnout that very well could have spelled the end of the corporation’s streak of general success, barring that bad period in the middle of the 1980s. How did Mr. Petrello get to this point, however?

Mr. Anthony Petrello earned two degrees from the highly successfully Yale University, both in math. He had first earned a bachelor’s degree in only three years of schooling, far faster than the vast majority of people that go to university in the United States, let alone those who were fortunate enough to attend an Ivy League school. Following graduation, he was able to attend Harvard Law Firm, where he started his career as an attorney by earning a juris doctorate and learn more about Anthony.

Tony Petrello is also known for contributing to charities, in particular the Texas Children’s Hospital. This hospital is part of Baylor University’s College of Medicine, as well as the largest hospital designed solely for children in the Lone Star state, not to mention the entire continent of North America. He and his wife, Cynthia, donated a little more than seven million dollars to the brain research facility there, formally known as the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute. Mr. Petrello has always been interested in neurological research since his daughter was born with a condition called PVL, or in medial terms, periventricular leukomalacia, a condition that affected his daughter, Carena, even before she was born. The baby was born extremely prematurely at only 24 weeks and less than 1.5 pounds. Tony is very glad is daughter is alive today, and is doing great things to help cure brain issues like hers, as Mr. Petrello also serves as the Director of the Board at the Texas Children’s Hospital and more information click here.

A Deeper Calling And Passion

No matter how much the world advances, many of us will still have a never-ending passion for something better. When you take a loser look at the condition of modern society, one thing becomes clear and true. We have a long way to go.

So when men and women alike have the passion for a deeper calling within society, we take the time and care to acknowledge them. It’s our duty to. Take a quick glance at the past labor of society. The only man who comes readily to mind, regarding the remembrance of our ancestors, is Sujit Choudhry.

What Is World Transition, And Where Will It Go

Sujit Choudhry is a professional in the industry of transition.

This field of study is one where worlds are transformed. The main focus of transition is to advance nations who live in a world with very few civil rights. These nations are often young, small, incapable or completely burdened.

When Sujit works, he first starts with a series of research steps that enable him to uncover the real conditions and facts. This process of uncovering information is known specifically as comparative constitutional law. All of those who work in the same field have this specific skill set, and it enables them to leverage truth. Relevant article here.

What this means is that as nations develop, they must first develop who and where they are as a nation. This understanding is the result of looking at modern challenges that countries face and then comparing those challenges to the solutions that nations have tried to implement, those that have succeeded and those that have failed.   Read more on en.wikipedia.org.

How Comparative Study Fits In Transition

The work of transition, which is the work of comparative study, becomes less than a common serotype if it’s without the resounding force of analytical thinking. Sujit Choudhry has been a leader in the front. He believes that what we as human beings learn about ourselves will empower us as a civilized people.

Check this related article about his work on thereisnoconsensus.com.

The more Sujit works to prove that transition is impossible without comparative education then the more we have as a world race. One of the most important areas of study in transition is comparative study. Like Suijt believes, the more we examine these broad open truths, the more power we have for equality, peace and transition.  Check his insight regarding certain issue rampant on the political arena, hit on activistpost.com

He along with Ukrainian and foreign colleagues were tasked with offering solutions on how Ukraine can create a more efficient, democratic and stable rule of law through amendments in the nation’s constitutional framework.  More to read on en.wikipedia.org.

Betsy DeVos users her core principles to improve education

Published / by Alice / Leave a Comment

President Donald Trump chose Betsy DeVos currently serves as the Secretary of Education under the Trump administration. No one expressed surprise when a controversial president nominated such a controversial figure. While news media outlets often criticize her for her policies, she has done a great deal of philanthropist work and supports the school choice issue. Although she has never held any public office, she became interested in politics in her 20s. When she realized she could send her children to almost any school, she decided to fight to give lower-income parents the same right. Even though she advocates for religious schools, school choice voucher programs allow the participants to send their children to any school of their choice. The schools may be public or private.

DeVos is also deeply concerned about her community and the area in which she lives. Her parents raised her in Holland, a town in Western Michigan. She grew up in a privileged family, and she feels she should bring the same opportunities to others. She not only supports private schools. She believes home schooling and digital learning are viable options, according to Cosmopolitan. Digital schools have become a viable alternative for many children who do not do well in public school settings. Home schooling can be a viable option for many parents, although there is some concern that parents may use home schooling for religious indoctrination that often hurts science education.

Betsy DeVos continues her work as a philanthropist even while serving as Secretary of Education. She and her husband, Dick DeVos, continue to support many educational facilities throughout Western Michigan. Her husband serves as the President of AmWay, a world leader in the sales of health supplements. She serves at the head of several political action committees designed to serve the educational needs of children. At least one of these committees was started by her and her husband. Her actions are guided by her religious principles, and she tries to put those principles in action through her work as a philanthropist. Her political work has focused on trying to break the power of teachers’ unions, a force which, according to the documentary Waiting for Superman, harms student education.
