The Fabletics Brand Builds On Its Success As Amazon’s Main Rival

Published / by Alice / Leave a Comment

The Online retail giant Amazon has been dominant in many different sectors over the course of the last three decades but is now facing one of its major tests in the challenge being presented by fashion and athleticwear retailer, Fabletics. Launched in 2013, Fabletics has built a loyal customer base by accepting many of the positive points created by Amazon such as the inclusion of customer reviews to inspire members of the Site to purchase the top-selling items. Fabletics is also going its own way in the retail industry by making sure the latest big data options are included in the brand which has become one of the fastest growing in the retail sector.

Members begin their journey with Fabletics by looking for the best possible ways of sourcing the clothes which will fit their lifestyle and exercise regimen. To aid its clients in developing a more active lifestyle, Fabletics uses big data to make sure its customers get the best option in exercise clothing which begins with the completion of a lifestyle quiz which takes only a few minutes and provides a few early recommendations for clothing; Fabletics does not solely rely on the lifestyle quiz but instead set out to tweak clothing recommendations based on the choices made by a customer over the course of their membership.

One area Fabletics has looked to improve over the course of its first years in operation is its last-mile service which founding partner, Kate Hudson played a major role in developing. One of the areas Fabletics believes can make a major difference to the work it is completing is the development of a high-quality customer service department designed to ease every aspect of the experience members enjoy through the company.

Amazon is being rivaled by Fabletics largely because of the influence of Kate Hudson, the “Almost Famous” actress who has taken her first steps into business as part of the Fabletics brand. Fabletics founders Adam Goldenberg and Don Ressler invited Hudson to join the brand while in the planning stages as they believed she reflected the outgoing, happy, active lifestyle the company was hoping to inspire in others. As part of the work of Kate Hudson, the award-winning actress has spent a large amount of her time learning about budgets and customer service options to ensure the brand continues its incredible rise in the Online retailing sector.

CEO of Dating App Bumble Gets Married In Italy

Published / by Alice / Leave a Comment

When you are a young woman looking for love sometimes the idea of finding a life partner can seem to be a little (read: very) discouraging. With the revelation that even women as beautiful and successful as Beyonce have trouble finding a faithful partner it might seem as though there is little hope for the average woman to find a partner who will treat her with respect. After all a simple google search can yield first person accounts of what women who decide to turn to online dating go through when they test the waters and attempt to use technology as a tool for looking for a mate. Whether it’s the messages from matches on dating apps that soon go from overly familiar to hostile or receiving suggestive pictures that you didn’t ask dating online is not easy for many women. Fortunately, as the saying goes, there is an app for that.

A newish dating app that is known as Bumble has arrived on the scene to bring something different to the buffet of dating apps that exist in the marketplace. One of the many things that sets Bumble apart from its competitors is the amount of power that the app places in the hands of its female users. Bumble currently serves as a way for people seeking romantic relationships, business associates or platonic friendships to connect. With regard to interactions on the app that occur between people who are seeking romantic heterosexual relationships the power to begin the interaction begins with the female user. Female users on Bumble are the ones who have the power to start a conversation with someone the app has messaged them with. If the woman does not start a conversation with a connection within 24 hours, that particular connection disappears. Users do have the ability, however, to request a 24 hour extension each day. The goal of having women control whether or not a conversation occurs is to prevent the sort of caustic conversations that all often spiral into harassment on other dating apps.

Bumble was founded by tech entrepreneur Whitney Wolfe. Whitney Wolfe serves as Bumble’s Chief Executive Officer. She was recently married herself to her boyfriend Michael Herd, who is from a family that is known for its success in the oil industry. Whitney and Michael were married in Italy on the Amalfi coast. She wore a white, lace gown for the ceremony and enjoyed a wedding cake layered with fresh fruit.
